This isn’t exactly the most overachieving action game around, but it’s not a bad showcase of what the PSP can do, and it’s generally entertaining for as long as it lasts.

Spider-Man 2 is a 2004 American superhero film directed by Sam Raimi and written by Alvin Sargent from a story by Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and Michael Chabon. A sequel to the 2002 film Spider-Man, it is the second installment in the Spider-Man trilogy based on the fictional Marvel Comics character of the same name. Tobey Maguire stars as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Alfred Molina, Rosemary Harris, and Donna Murphy.

Spider-Man 2 was an ambitious and revolutionary game that shaped what we expect from Spider-Man games today. It was the first to introduce webs that attach to buildings, and it included an open world New York City for you to explore. Although this is pretty standard nowadays, it was a pretty big deal back in 2004. It also features the voices of the movies cast, including Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and Alfred Molina. It’s considered to be one of the best superhero games every made and is highly regarded amongst fans. So now, nearly 2 decades after its release, we’ll return back to world of Spider-Man 2 and discuss how it holds up today.
